St Columba’s College Planning Application

Notification of Planning Application for St Columba’s College
On 19 August 2022, St Columba’s College lodged an application with the Minister for Planning, who is the Responsible Authority, for a new building on the north-western corner of the school site. The application was referred to Council and the community under the Planning and Environment Act, 1987.
A report on this matter will go to Council at the upcoming meeting on Tuesday, 15 November 2022. This will provide a recommended Council response on the application and relevant planning matters.
The Minister requires that notice be given under section 52(1) of the Act. This directs St Columba’s to notify a small number of nearby property owners and occupiers, as well as organisations. Physical advertising signage has also been displayed at the school. The notification period will end on 9 November 2022.
To review the application and provide feedback, head to the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP)’s website via this link.
To view the application and supporting documents in person, please phone Ruby Dawes-Robb at the DELWP on 8508 3448 or email ruby.dawes-robb@delwp.vic.gov.au to make an appointment to view the plans. This can be done during office hours and is free of charge.
