Represent the Moonee Valley community and become a candidate for the upcoming election.

Nominations to stand as a candidate in the Moonee Valley City Council election open at 9am on Monday, 9 September and close at 12 noon on Tuesday, 17 September.

No matter your age, gender or background, your voice is important to help shape the future of our vibrant city.

We will be hosting an information session to learn more about becoming a candidate, which will be run by the VEC Election Manager for Moonee Valley.

When: Wednesday, 4 September at 6pm
Where: Civic Centre (Council Chamber)
9 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds

Elections are held every 4 years for all Victorian councils.

The Moonee Valley election will be held this October and will be conducted entirely by post. Voting is conducted by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) and is compulsory for most residents of Moonee Valley who are on the electoral roll.
