Jingle all the way to Carols in Queens Park

One of Australia’s leading singing stars, Silvie Paladino, and rising pop sensation Tahlia Eve will be among the feast of talent at Moonee Valley’s favourite festive community event, Carols in Queens Park.
The annual event so dear to the hearts of Moonee Valley residents returns to the park in the heart of Moonee Ponds on Saturday, 9 December.
This free event is a fantastic opportunity for the community to gather with family and friends, dig out a Santa hat and sing along to some favourite festive songs!
Deputy Mayor of Moonee Valley, Cr Narelle Sharpe, said she was looking forward to seeing the joyful event return to the much-loved Queens Park.
“This event has been held in Queens Park for the past 40 years and is one of my favourite events of the year,” Cr Sharpe said.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together in one of the most beautiful parks in our City and really embrace what the festive season is all about.”
Cr Sharpe says Carols has something for everyone this year, with a wonderfully jolly and diverse entertainment line-up for the evening.
“We are excited to welcome some incredible local talents to the stage including Moonee Valley Brass, the Moonee Valley Community Choir and our MC Richard Thomas, as well as regular crowd favourites Team Dream.”
Free children’s activities will begin at 4.30pm, with Carols kicking off at 6.30pm.
Candles, food and refreshments will all be available for purchase at the event. No glass is permitted.
Everyone is invited to this magical evening to enjoy a festive night out with family and friends. So, pack a picnic blanket and experience the magic of Christmas with some of your favourite carols in Queens Park!
