Her history in production is unmatched: she’s won awards for every ratings juggernaut in recent history. From Big Brother to Dancing With The Stars, The X Factor and The Celebrity Apprentice, all the way The Farmer Wants A Wife and the long running current affairs show, Q&A on ABC. From all her years on set, Maz now firmly believes in the three E’s: entertainment, engagement, and emotion.
Turning her tricks of the trade into a successful media consultancy, Maz now runs Absolutely Farrelly, a company that specialises in creative content, training, and building strategies to boost engagement. There’s nothing she loves more than helping businesses unlock their full potential.
Maz holds a special interest in leadership, self-confidence, and motivating women to break through barriers to pursue their ambitions and make a lasting impact in their industries. As a leadership coach, Maz provides practical insights into developing a successful business venture. She covers emotional intelligence, resilience, and strategic thinking, and how to manage the inevitable setbacks that almost every business faces in their early years. She’s also passionate about advocating for work-life balance and ensuring that professional success is matched with personal well-being. There’s no business without the individual at the center of the story, and Maz knows that better than most.
Alicia Loxley
Maz will be joined on stage by host Alicia Loxley, an esteemed journalist and the current host of Nine News Melbourne. Alicia is no stranger to the camera herself, and has been at the frontline of breaking stories across the last two decades, including the Black Saturday bushfires, the London Olympics, and multiple State and Federal election specials.
