Creating change: Women’s Change Agents Program

Do you want to make positive social change in your community? Join us for this free 4 week program to build on skills and resources to support your passion projects.
The Women’s Change Agents Program is an opportunity for women to support the next wave of community leaders to make positive social change. Participants will gain knowledge and skills to work with their community to reduce inequality as well as promote greater inclusion and diversity. We’re currently seeking expressions of interest from 20 members of our community to get involved and be a catalyst for change!
This program aims to help resource women of Moonee Valley with the confidence and skills to advocate for change and develop ideas for community projects or initiatives. This program also provides a space for connection and support among local women who are passionate about social change and their community.
So, what’s involved?
Participants of the program can expect to:
- Build on individual passions and apply skills to real life projects
- Gain the tools and confidence to become change-makers in the community
- Improve leadership, communication and advocacy skills
- Connect with like-minded women, build social and professional networks and contribute to community
When is this happening?
This free 4 week program will run every Tuesday starting on the 6 June, and ending 27 June. Sessions commence from 10am – 2:30pm and will be held at Avondale Heights Library.
