What you need to know

Jobs Victoria Advocates’

It can often be overwhelming to find suitable work. Your local Jobs Victoria Advocates work closely with Employment Agencies, Learn Local providers, TAFEs, Job Centres, and even Apprenticeship Services to find the best pathway for you.

Jobs Victoria Advocates Program

Our Advocates support local community members looking for work by connecting you with information, advice, and the right services. Working with the unemployed or underemployed, we can also assist you in connecting with support services outside of employment and training.

What do Jobs Victoria Advocates do?

With many services available, it can become difficult for someone to navigate their way around finding work, training and other support services. With a conversation, Advocates can help determine your professional goals and any barriers that are blocking you from employment. Jobs Victoria Advocates have networks in the local Moonee Valley and surrounding areas to assist you with connecting to Employment and Education services. If requested, Advocates can call on your behalf and make appointments for you.

Where to find your local Jobs Victoria Advocates?

Our Advocates are immersed in the community engaging with its members. On Tuesdays from 1pm-3pm, you can find them upstairs at the Flemington Library (313 Racecourse Rd, Kensington), delivering Job Ready workshops and assisting people with overcoming any hurdles to gaining employment.

To register for the workshops. Please complete your details below and your Jobs Victoria Advocates for Moonee Valley City Council will be in touch.
