Join our nature stewards course

Do you love spending time outdoors and learning about nature?
This Autumn we are inviting local residents to join an in-depth guided tour of the local environment. Discover the volcanoes under our suburbs and understand how waterways and trees help us prepare for climate change.
The Nature Stewards program runs between March and May. Over 10 weeks Nature Stewards will attend information sessions, given from western and local Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung perspectives including four field trips and topics including:
- geology
- soils
- climate
- fungi
- plants
- animals
- conservation land management
- volunteering and citizen science
The class sessions have an expert facilitator, together with presentations from specialist guest presenters and local volunteer organisations.
Go on an in-depth exploration of your local creek and wildlife and learn how to act for nature.
