Free training for your pooch

Is your fur baby in need of some discipline training? Learn the fundamental skills of dog ownership at this FREE training by Lost Dogs Home. It’s an easy way to teach your pooch the basics of petiquette.

We’ve partnered with Lost Dogs Home to host a FREE dog training session for community members. This session is aimed at providing dog owners with some educational tools and promote responsible pet ownership in our community.  The session is a group training session enabling a range of skills and behaviours that seeks to make our community a safer place and enhancing their dogs experience at parks and public spaces.

‘Dogs in the Park’ is a free Interactive dog training sessions where owners will also learn more on – positive reinforcement training.

 

Some of the key learning outcome are;

  • Understanding dog behaviour and body language
  • Learning foundation skills, including recall and walking nicely on a lead
  • At-home play and enrichment ideas
  • How to interact safely with other dogs at the park and in public spaces

 

Session details:

When: Saturday 7th October 2023

Where: Location: Alf Pearce Reserve

Session times: 1.15pm-2.15pm and 2.45pm – 3.45pm
